One of my friends wanted to buy a high-end chair for his setup. After a couple of hours of research, he found out about that brand: Noblechairs. He is not very big, and he is quite average in terms of height, so any chair of their catalog could fit him, so he asked me: “Hey, what is the best Noblechairs chair ?”.
Thankfully for him, I did a couple of research to determine which one is the best. And here is what I think:
The vast majority of people should with the Noblechairs EPIC. This chair is large enough to fit most users and it can support up to 265 lbs which will be enough for most people. Also, the features of all the Noblechairs’ product are nearly the same, so this is by far the sweet spot in terms of features to price ratio.
If you want to know more about the brand and why I think the Noblechairs EPIC is the best choice, continue to read.
Noblechairs EPIC: the sweet spot
Buy “Noblechairs Epic Series” with Discount

- Capacity: 265 lbs (120 kg)
- Adjustable armrest: 4D
- Adjustable backrest angle: 90° to 135°
- Aluminum five-point base
- Rocking chair mechanism: max. 11°
- Deform-resistant cold foam
- Cover material: Faux Leather or real leather (depending on the version)
Despite being an entry-level product, the Noblechairs Epic has an impressive set of features. It is basically the best set you can have when you buy a gaming chair.
The only downside of this gaming chair is the maximum load capacity, 265 lbs is a little bit low in my opinion. I would prefer a 300 lbs capacity, with that it could have been one of the best gaming chairs of 2018.
For who is this chair designed for?
Let’s take a look at the chair dimensions to find out who can fit on the Noblechairs EPIC and who cannot.
The backrest is 34″ (87 cm) long which is perfect for people between 5’8″ and 6’1″. If you are under 5’8″ your feet may not be able to touch the ground even at the lowest seat height ( you can check out my article about the best gaming chair for small people). And if you are above 6’1″ your head will be over the headrest pillow.
The seat of the Noblechairs EPIC is quite large. It is 22″ large and 19″ long with that you should not have any problem if you have an average weight and more.
In the end, we can say that the Noblechair Epic is designed for an average user. So it can fit the majority of people. However, if you are a more bulky guy and you want to buy a Noblechairs gaming chair then the Hero series might be the one for you.
Noblechairs HERO: For the big guys
Buy “Noblechairs Hero” with Discount

- Capacity: 330 lbs (150 kg)
- Adjustable armrest: 4D
- Adjustable backrest angle: 90° to 135°
- Aluminum five-point base
- Rocking chair mechanism: max. 11°
- Deform-resistant cold foam
- Cover material: Faux Leather or real leather (depending on the version)
The Noblechairs Hero is the latest product released by the brand. It was advertised as a gaming chair for big guys but it is really?
As you can see the features are nearly identical to the Noblechairs Epic. The only change is in weight capacity. The Noblechairs Hero can support up to 330 lbs (150 kg) which is very good. It was the only complaint that I had with the Epic version.
So if it is better, why I would recommend buying the Noblechairs Epic instead of this one?
Well to answer that, we will have to take a look at the dimensions of the chair.
A gaming chair for big and tall guys?
The main evolutions in terms of size are in the backrest. It is taller than the Noblechairs Epic one. With a 35″ backrest, this chair is more for 6’1″ and above people. However, the seat is nearly the same size as the Noblechairs Epic. To me, that is not a problem as it was already fairly large.
But if you are a really big guy, I would not recommend the Noblechairs Hero. In fact, I would not recommend any gaming chair of Noblechairs.
Check out my guide about gaming chair for big and tall guys where I give you 8 chairs that you should consider buying.
In the end, I would say that the Noblechairs Hero is certainly an excellent product, but they missed the target. It is not the best gaming chair for large people, and it is not the best product in their line up in terms of features to price ratio.
EDIT: I’ve tried the Noblechairs Hero, and I got to admit that I was completely wrong about it.
Noblechairs ICON: the alternative offer
Buy “Noblechairs Icon Black Edition” with Discount

- Capacity: 330 lbs (150 kg)
- Adjustable armrest: 4D
- Adjustable backrest angle: 90° to 135°
- Aluminum five-point base
- Rocking chair mechanism: max. 11°
- Deform-resistant cold foam
- Cover material: Faux Leather or real leather (depending on the version)
The Noblechairs ICON is an alternative design for the Noblechairs EPIC. The weight capacity has been increased, and the features are the same.
So what is the difference you may ask?
Well, the design is different. And that is it pretty much it.
If you don’t like the classic racing style that you find on most gaming chairs, the Noblechairs ICON is a nice alternative.
EDIT: I have now tried the Noblechairs ICON Black edition and I must say that I was impressed. The chair was well made (like the Hero), felt sturdy, and well balanced. I also loved the unique design of the chair. I haven’t tested the standard version, so your mileage may vary. The bottom line is you can’t go wrong with either of Noblechair’s products. If you choose the Icon for its unique style, you won’t be missing out compared to the rest.
Final Verdict: Get the Noblechairs Epic
Don’t get me wrong, Noblechairs products are great. And whatever you choose you will end up with a top-quality gaming chair. That being said, I also believe that the Noblechairs EPIC is the best choice for most people.
It is a less expensive chair and it offers great quality and a lot of features. The other two series are a little more expensive and for that reason, I think that they are not as compelling as the Epic version.
Finally, if you are a big guy buying a Noblechairs product might not be the best for you. But if you are average size then the Noblechairs Epic is a very attractive offer. That is why it has been quite popular among gamers.
In the end, I advise my friend to get the Noblechairs Epic. But he didn’t buy it. Instead, he bought the SecretLab Titan 2020…
