Ali Kabbani, AKA Myth, is a Youtuber and world-famous Fortnite player. He’s the captain of the Team SoloMid sports team, and it’s fair to say he knows a lot about gaming.
He also has a pretty awesome home set up, and a really cool gaming chair. In this article, I’ll be taking a deeper look into what gaming chair Myth uses and why.
What gaming chair does Myth use? To answer your question, it is the Herman Miller Embody model, which is one of the most popular options for YouTubers and a sophisticated model that comes at an expensive price point.
It goes without saying that Herman Miller is a luxury brand in the office chair department. However, many are wondering whether people unlike Myth can afford chairs that cost $1,600 such as the Herman Miller Embody. Below, we are going in detail on this.

(Update) Pros & Cons About Myth’s Herman Miller Embody
Herman Miller Embody from manufacturer

Pros:
- One of the most ergonomic gaming chairs out there
- Comfortable in every position
- Adjustable in many ways
- Very durable
- Easy to assemble
- 12-year warranty
Cons:
- Ridiculously expensive
- A design that is not very gaming-style oriented
As you could see from the list above, the Herman Miller Embody that TSM Myth is using is one of the most expensive, but also the most ergonomic gaming chairs out there. Simply put, this model is like a Ferrari in the gaming chair world, coming with added ergonomics and a new technology in the backrest area.
You will notice that the chair narrows down in the spinal area and has a rib-like structure when seen from the back. This is Herman Miller’s new technology, which has gotten nothing but high marks from many judges and experts alike.
From the backrest which is very comfortable to the seating base, the Embody that Myth has is made of a mesh-like material that allows for breathability. Its armrests are also good and adjustable in all directions. Plus, there is a lever that lets you move the seat pan forward or backwards, which is very much appreciated by gamers out there.
When reclining, the Embody supports your body and is very responsive. Even if you go lower, you can sit correctly and without pressure on your spine, back, or neck. The chair is sturdy and designed to support people for more than a decade. In fact, the manufacturer offers a 12-year warranty on it, which is rare to see for a gaming chair.
Is The Myth Gaming Chair (Herman Miller Embody) Worth The Price?
Spending $1,600 on a gaming chair is something that Myth and many other YouTubers are comfortable with, not to mention that they probably get these chairs as sponsorships. For the general public, however, it can be just too much. There are, after all, quality gaming chairs that you can find for as little as $350, which is the biggest drawback of the Embody model.
On the other hand, Embody is more than just a gaming chair – it is a trend followed by many YouTubers and Fortnite gamers. Aside from TSM Myth, Jacksepticeye, Shroud and Tfue all have this chair in their setup.
So, the Herman Miller Embody is an exceptional office chair that won’t disappoint you but may drain your pocket. If you are willing to spend a premium for the perfect office and gaming chair, this model has a design and functionality to support that. Still, for many, the Embody’s price-to-value ratio is hardly justifiable.

(Old) Key Benefits of Myth’s chair: Vertagear Triigger 350

Vertagear isn’t a particularly popular brand in the gaming chair industry, and many players choose more well-known brands like Maxnomic or DXRacer.
However, Myth doesn’t own just one, but two chairs from Vertagear, which says something about the build and quality of the chairs.
After taking a look at the Vertagear Triigger 350 it’s clear to see why a gamer like Myth would be attracted to this chair.
For full-time gamers, their gaming chair is their office, and therefore, ergonomics are often the most important thing.
With the Triigger 350, Vertagear has aimed to produce a new style of gaming chair, that focuses on ergonomics, breathability, and stability, rather than fancy logos and leather covers.
As a result of this, the Triigger 350 looks more like a chair that would be designed by a high-end chair designer like Herman Miller than a gaming chair brand.
The chair has a sleek and seamless look and comes equipped with a range of features that make it perfect for gamers that spend a long time in their chairs, such as:
Highly Adjustable Back Rest
The back of the Triigger 350 chair can reline 33° and can be locked into a whopping 22 different positions, meaning that gamers are sure to be able to find a position that works for their body.
Lumbar Support
The Triigger 350 comes equipped with a multi-directional lumbar support system that allows players to adjust the angle of the back frame to ensure maximum support for the spine.
Lightweight
For gamers, flexibility and being able to move around efficiently is really important. For this reason, the Vertagear Triigger 350 is built using an alloy frame that is both lightweight and durable.
Adjustable Seat Depth
The Triigger 350 also has seat depth adjustability that allows the user to pick the perfect height for the seat pad. This means that it can be adjusted to give you better height for your desk set-up, or to ensure that your legs have enough room to move around under the seat.
Mesh Back Pad
Unlike many other gaming chairs, the Triigger 350 utilizes mesh panels instead of cushions and leather to create comfort and breathability. The chairs are built with DuPont TPEE mesh that is both breathable and hardwearing.
Strong Alloy Base
The Triigger 350 is built to last with a super strong 5 star designed alloy base. The designers also seem to have thought of everything as they’ve even installed silencers in the base to stop any noise from squeaky wheels.
Overall, it seems as though the Vertagear Triigger 350 has some pretty nice features, but let’s find out a little more about what the brand has to offer.
Is Vertagear a Good Brand?
Although there are quite a few more established brands in the gaming chair industry, Vertagear is fast becoming a popular brand, thanks to its diverse range of gaming chairs and innovative new designs. Vertagear offers a range of different styles of gaming chair, from the ergonomically designed models like the Triigger 350, to for traditional racing-style chairs.
Currently, they offer 3 different lines of chairs; the S-line, the P-line and the Triigger line. They also sell individual accessories such as casters for gamers looking to replace their old casters or pimp their own chairs from a different brand.
Although they may be less established than brands like Maxnomic or DXRacer, they’re quickly gaining a good reputation, thanks to the positive responses to community feedback, and their diverse range of chairs ar different price points. When it comes to price, Vertagear offers some real bargains, but some of its chairs are also quite expensive. Let’s take a deeper look at the price of the Triigger 350.
How Much Does Myth’s Chair Cost?
After looking into the features of the Triigger 350, it’s easy to see that it’s a great chair and definitely worth having. However, if you’re not a multimillionaire Fortnite superstar like Myth, it’s understandable that price is important.
Unfortunately, the Vertagear Triigger 350 most certainly is not the cheapest gaming chair on the market, and it will cost you around $800 to get your hands on one. Although this seems extortionate, the innovative design could justify the price. When likened to similar chairs such as the Herman Miller Aeron (that cost more than $1000), it actually seems like quite a bargain.
However, for a lot of people, paying $800 for a chair is simply out of the question, but thankfully, Vertagear does offer some reasonably priced options as well. Read on and you’ll find some viable (and cheaper) alternatives to the Vertagear Triigger 350.
Alternatives to the Vertagear Triigger 350
The Vertagear Triiggerr 350 does seem like an awesome chair, but if it’s simply out of your budget, then don’t worry. Below are some great alternatives, that might not make too much of a hole in your set up savings

This is my favorite gaming chair right now, and I feel that it’s a great alternative to the Triigger 350. It’s similar in that it has an all-black design, and a strong frame. However, it’s much cheaper than the Triigger 350 with prices starting from around $400, so it could be a much better option. After reviewing this product myself, I found that it has superior build quality and the comfort and ergonomic design were perfect for serious gamers.
Vertagear S-Line SL2000
If you’re keen to get your hands on a chair that Myth owns, but you don’t have the budget for the Triigger 350, then the SL2000 is a solid option. It’s a typical racing style gaming chair with good ergonomic design and build quality. It might not be the chair that Myth uses on a daily basis, but it is his second choice, and it features in one or two of his videos.
Herman Miller Aeron Chair
Buy the Aeron Chair on Hermanmiller.com

If you’d like to ger a chair similar to Myth’s, but you’re not sold on the Vertagear option, then you can’t go wrong. The Herman Miller Aeron chair is very similar in design, and although it’s more expensive than the Triigger 350, it’s one of the best ergonomic chairs on the market right now.
