So, what chair does Symfuhny use? He uses the Herman Miller Embody, which is a $1500 + ergonomic chair, and it is considered to be the best ergonomic chair in the market right now.

However, there is another gaming chair that you can spot on Symfuhny’s videos but has not been confirmed yet. By the looks of it, this chair is red and I highly speculate that it is the DXRacer Racing model. 

Symfuhny’s Herman Miller Embody Gaming Chair

The look of the Embody gaming chair by Herman Miller is known for dropping many jaws. This chair blends the best of ergonomics, great design and minimalistic features. The style is neat, and the material that this model is upholstered in is very interesting.

Where Ergonomics And Comfort Meet

Soft and comfortable, the Embody is known as a top-of-the-line product that keeps the back aligned and supported. When sitting on it, you can feel a big difference and feel how it cradles the body.

A lot of engineers worked on this chair to find a position that will cradle the body and help you sit up straight. Even though this is not the most favorite position among gamers, the Aeron is here to teach you how to get comfortable in it.

As I hinted above, the other chair that I keep on noticing when watching Symfuhny’s videos is a red one that looks a lot like the DXRacer Racing Series. So, without my full confidence that this is the right model, I am reviewing the DXRacer model below.

You probably know that DXRacer is a popular name in the gaming chair segment, which is why Symfuhny could be using a chair of this caliber. However, the good thing is that the Racing Series is a chair that won’t cost you more than $399, offering a great value for money.

Whether you are after a gaming chair or want a cool looking office chair, the Racing Series is great if you are ready to game for hours or work all day, but also good if you want to lean back, read a book or even take a nap.

A Lot Of Colors To Choose From

One of the best things about DXRacer is the fact that they offer a big palette of colors to choose from. You can literally customize and get the Racing Series in Black, Blue, Green, Orange, Purple, Red and White. Each of these versions has a black body, and the color you choose will run along the sides of the back and the seat of the chair.

One of the things I don’t like, however, is the fact that it doesn’t support people that weigh more than 250 pounds. DXRacer says that the Racing Series is ideal for people with a “recommended weight of 220 pounds” which definitely limits a lot of people.

Good Design And Nice Materials (Which Could Use Some Upgrade)

Even though the design of this gaming chair is great and there are a lot of adjustments and customization options, I have a comment about the materials that DXRacer used. In the Racing Series, aside from the limited weight capacity, there is also limited amount of polyurethane foam which can create troubles for some gamers.

The faux leather and vinyl feel sturdy, but are not as supple as materials used in other gaming chairs. Also, the upper base and arms of the chair are made of steel, but the armrests could use some repositioning as they are high for some users.

Overall, there are many open cavities under the material, which makes this chair look like a cheaper version of what it is supposed to be. After sitting on it for hours, I found it comfortable, but I can also see some of the questions gamers have or the potential problems it could make to other users, especially with the lack of dense padding throughout the back and the lack of polyurethane foam used all around the chair.

Assembling This Chair Is Easy

If you are a fan of simple assembly, you should know that the DXRacer Racing Series is very simple and straightforward to put together. The chair comes in a big cardboard box and is separated with pre-attached armrests, the back, upper base, five casters, cylinder and some plastic parts.

There is an instruction manual that will help you with the unscrewing and connecting, but everything is quite simple and the process should not take more than 25 minutes to be completed.

So, Which Symfuhny Chair to Buy?

If you are a fan of Symfuhny and are thinking of buying the Aeron or Racing Series, I should again point out that the Aeron costs like four Racing Series models. This is why I assume that many of you would go for the DXRacer as a more logical option.

To reassure you, the Herman Miller Aeron that Symfuhny is using may be good if you have the money to spend, as it is an innovative chair with a modern and clean design. However, spending more than $1,500 on it is not something I can justify for myself.

On the other hand, the DXRacer Racing Series comes at $369 to $399 which is a price I can justify for a gaming chair of this caliber. The only thing I want to comment here is that this is nowhere near a perfect gaming chair, especially when it comes to high-end comfort. DXRacer needs to include more materials and make this line of chairs more premium.
